Our Promise

Our pieces are made to be worn, trusted, and lived in. Every Blush & Bind product is backed by a warranty - the specific coverage depends on the collection it belongs to.

Warranty Tiers at a Glance

All tiers require that the item has been reasonably cared for; this includes proper cleaning, avoidance of harsh chemicals, and use within its intended purpose.

Proper warranty registration is required before a claim can be made.

Heritage Warranty

The Heritage warranty provides lifetime coverage for your product for as long as Blush & Bind remains in business, provided the item has been reasonably cared for.

What's Covered

Our Heritage Warranty covers accidental damage and functional failure during normal use, including but not limited to:

• Rivets, snaps, or fasteners popping
• Stitching separating or coming undone
• Hardware failure (buckles, D-rings, O-rings)
• Structural failure affecting safe function

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. If something feels wrong, contact us and we will review it with care.

What's Not Covered

• Intentional damage (cutting, burning, carving, deliberate destruction)
  • emergency safety cuts are addressed separately below
• Improper storage (mold, mildew, water damage)
• Improper cleaning (soaking, harsh chemicals, solvents)
• Alterations or repairs performed by anyone other than Blush & Bind
• Cosmetic wear and aging (patina, scuffing, softening, natural variation)
• Loss, theft, or damage outside normal use

Repair vs. Replacement

We determine whether an item is repaired or replaced and will confirm the plan with you before proceeding. Because our pieces are handcrafted:

• Repairs may not restore items to "like-new" condition
• Materials may no longer be available
• Replacements will always be functionally equivalent, though exact color or hardware tone may vary

Custom Design Sessions (When Exact Recreation Isn't Possible)

If we cannot recreate your item to the same specifications due to supplier changes, discontinued materials or designs, or one-of-a-kind/heavily customized elements, we will schedule a one-on-one custom design session with you, free of charge. This is a collaborative process where we work together to design a replacement that honors what mattered most about the original even if it cannot be identical.

Sentimental Items

We understand collars can be highly sentimental. In this case we may allow you to keep the original item and try to create a replacement. This is handled with care and discretion.

Emergency Safety Cut Accommodation

As a one-time safety accommodation per item, Heritage items receive free repair or replacement if cut for immediate safety reasons (see Safety Comes First below). Applies once per item, reviewed case by case.

Standard Warranty

Our Standard Warranty covers items for 5 years from date of purchase, provided the item has been reasonably cared for.

What's Covered

Repair vs. Replacement

We determine whether an item is repaired or replaced. Repairs after the first year of ownership are offered at a discounted rate rather than free of charge; replacements will be functionally equivalent, though exact color or hardware tone may vary.

Emergency Safety Cut Accommodation

Standard items receive one free repair or replacement for an emergency safety cut, provided the claim falls within the 5-year warranty term.

Essentials Warranty

Essentials Warranty covers items in this tier for 1 year from date of purchase.

What's Covered

• Manufacturing defects only
  • a defect present at the time of sale due to materials or workmanship (e.g., hardware that fails under normal use shortly after purchase, seams that were not properly finished)

What's Not Covered

• Wear and tear from normal use
• Structural failure due to use beyond the item's intended purpose
• Improper storage or cleaning
• Alterations or repairs performed by anyone other than Blush & Bind
• Cosmetic wear and aging
• Loss, theft, or damage outside normal use
• Emergency safety cuts (see Safety Comes First below. Always cut without hesitation if needed, but replacement is not covered under this tier)

Repair vs. Replacement

Verified manufacturing defects within the 1-year term will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

Safety Comes First

Your safety matters more than any piece of product, regardless of which warranty tier it falls under.

We strongly recommend:

• Inspecting all gear before each use
• Using restraints only as intended
• Never leaving a restrained partner unattended
• Keeping safety shears or a cutting tool immediately accessible at all times

If immediate release is required, cut the gear without hesitation, regardless of warranty tier. We would rather replace a piece than have you pause in a moment where safety matters. Whether that replacement is free, discounted, or the customer's responsibility depends on the tier (see above), but the instruction to cut first is universal.

What "Normal Use" Means

Blush & Bind pieces are designed for consensual adult play and restraint, not extreme load-bearing.

• Cuffs restrain hands and wrists; they are not suspension gear
• Our products are not designed for hoisting, hanging, shock-loading, or bearing full body weight
• All gear should be inspected before each use

Damage caused by use outside these boundaries may not be covered under any tier.

Shipping

• You are responsible for shipping items to us
• We cover return shipping using the most economical method (you may pay for expedited shipping)

Abuse of Warranty

We reserve the right to deny claims that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with responsible use, regardless of tier.

Products are intended for consensual adult use only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blush & Bind is not responsible for injury or damages arising from misuse, modification, improper care, or use outside intended purpose.

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty replaces all other warranties, express or implied.
